- Profile photo (optional)
- Google account details if you sign in with Google
Roster & Usage Data
- Property addresses associated with your rosters
- Duty types (cleaning, garbage removal) and rotation settings
- Participant names and emails added to your rosters
- Turn history and rotation logs
- Account activity timestamps
Technical Data
- IP address and browser type
- Session data and cookies
- Access logs and error reports
2. How We Use Your Information
- Account management: Create and maintain your account, verify your email, and authenticate logins
- Roster functionality: Power the duty rotation system, track turns, and display upcoming schedules
- Notifications: Send duty reminders and account-related emails
- Platform improvement: Understand how the app is used to improve features and fix issues
- Security: Detect and prevent unauthorised access or abuse
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We only share information in these limited cases:
- Within your roster: Your name is visible to other participants in rosters you belong to
- Service providers: Trusted third parties that help us run the platform (e.g. hosting, email delivery) — bound by confidentiality agreements
- Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect the safety of users
4. Email Communications
We send transactional emails only — things like email verification, duty reminders, and password resets. We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent. You can manage notification preferences in your account settings.
5. Data Security
- Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms — never stored in plain text
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS
- Access to user data is restricted to authorised systems only
- We regularly review our security practices
6. Data Retention
- Account data is retained while your account is active
- Roster and turn history is kept to maintain accurate rotation records
- When you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days
- Some anonymised usage data may be retained for platform analytics

9. Third-Party Sign-In
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. We do not receive your Google password. Google's own Privacy Policy governs how they handle your data.
10. Children's Privacy
Yewodan is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of Yewodan after changes means you accept the updated policy.
